Sandbox and production hosts are both supported, and a health check confirms connectivity so a mistyped key surfaces during setup rather than on a customer's invoice. As with Avalara, Renttix keeps preview and commitment separate. Quotes and drafts are rated for display without being recorded as filed transactions; issued invoices are committed. The distinction matters because a rental pipeline contains a lot of draft paperwork that never becomes an invoice, and none of it should reach a tax return.
